Travelola looks at the impact of travel on individuals, communities and the environment. Through sharing cultural, social and wilderness adventures, Travelola addresses the ‘why’ and ‘what’ and ‘wonder’ of travel, rather than the ‘how to’.
What impact does travel have on you? On those closest to you? On the people you meet? On the communities you visit? On the environment? On the world as a whole? Join the journey and the conversation.

Hey. Cool blog! It’s always great to read about other people’s travelling experiences. On our website we normally publish stories and articles about hitch-hiking and travelling so if you have any story you would like to be seen by a wider audience (with a link to your blog of course). This is how we do it: http://hitchhikershandbook.com/your-contributions/travel-stories/ Drop us a line if you are interested.
Happy travels!
Hi Ania and Jon. Thanks for stopping by – I’ll definitely get back to you regarding a guest post. I love what you’re doing in life and on your blog – viva adventure!
Hi Finola! I love the ideas behind your blog and can completely relate to the excitement and fear that comes with leaving it all behind (leaving your comfort zone) and setting off into the world. I love that you’re interested in ‘physical, emotional and intellectual adventures, and intrigued by social, environmental and sustainable ventures’. What an eloquent way to put it! I appreciate your follow and look forward to exploring your blog! -Anna
Hi Anna – thanks to Liz of belovelive I found your blog – good to connect. Loving the ‘responsible bohemian’ description – I can’t help but love and relate to that unusual joining of words. Looking forward to reading more of your thoughts and adventures. Happy International Women’s Day, by the way 🙂
Thank you (for both the well wishing women’s day and the compliments)! It was actually a family friend who coined the term ‘responsible bohemian’ (as I had a list of all the freelance work I planned to do) and it just really seemed to fit me and my blog haha. So happy to discover (and be discovered by) a fellow like minded blogger 🙂
So happy to connect with another travel blogger. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hoping to see more of you!
